Air Quality Compliance Assistance (Courtesy Site Visit)
At the request of a permit holder, the department will conduct an inspection by an individual familiar with rules applicable to the operation. This is advisory in nature and will result in no enforcement action. To request assistance call 602-506-5102 or AQBusinessAssistance@mail.maricopa.gov.
Compliance Inspection

Inspection Services
To schedule an inspection using the automated system, please call 602-506-3692 or you may use the on-line portal to schedule your inspection online. If you would like to speak with a customer service representative, please call 602-506-6616. Online scheduling provides more options for date selection as well as an opportunity to leave a message for the inspector. Please note: Inspections cannot be cancelled online at this time.- A permit must be posted and visible from the street.
- Permits expire 180 days from the date issued or the last approved inspection.
- Most construction permits require both Drainage and Building Safety inspections.
- All required Drainage inspections are listed on the permit. Required Drainage inspections must be completed and passed prior to scheduling the next Building Safety inspection.
- Building Safety inspections are listed as available on the permit and are determined by the type of project. Please communicate with the inspector as to each subsequent inspection needed.
