Warmer weather brings more opportunities to be outdoors, and more mosquito activity. Maricopa County Public Health worked with the Town of Gilbert to conduct a door-to-door survey in the Lindsay Meadows neighborhood on Saturday, April 7th.

The purpose of the survey is to gather informationftb about how the community can best prepare for mosquito-borne diseases. Residents participating also had the opportunity for a free backyard inspection by county vector control to help identify areas where mosquitoes can breed. Not all homes in the area were visited due to time constraints, and participation was voluntary.
