Those departments are Planning and Development, Environmental Services and Air Quality.

The customer service lobby located at 501 N. 44th Street, Suite 200 in Phoenix will be closed to walk-in customers starting March 18. Customers are welcome to schedule an appointment by:

  • Going to Planning and Development website and clicking on “Schedule Intake Appointment.” They can also call 602-506-8573.
  • Going to Environmental Services website and clicking on “Schedule Intake Appointment.” They can also call 602-506-6616.
  • Calling the Air Quality Department at 602-372-3456.

As always, these departments encourage companies and individuals to submit applications online. The steps are outlined at the permitting website on Maricopa.gov.

Maricopa County permitting departments strive for the highest level of customer service while processing approximately 43,000 permits a year. They appreciate residents and businesses for adopting this temporary process to protect their health and that of County employees.
