MC Animal Care shelters will be offering waived adoption fees on any dog or cat over three months of age this weekend, June 10 & 11. The event will run from 11am to 5pm both days.
The waived fee weekend originally stemmed from the shelter’s participation in the Just One Day event on June 11th, but quickly expanded to an entire weekend of no-cost adoptions. The goal? To clear as many adoptable pets out of the MC Animal Care shelters as possible. Although there is no adoption fee, every animal adopted during the event will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated; dogs over three months of age are rabies vaccinated and go home with their County dog license tag.
