[ARCHIVED] Public Comment Requested: Future of Chase Field and Professional Baseball in Arizona

Chase Field

The Maricopa County Stadium District Board of Directors is soliciting public comment on a proposal that would end the lawsuit over Chase Field.  The proposed binding “memorandum of understanding” (MOU) simplifies the original agreements between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Maricopa County and provides a way forward for professional baseball in Arizona.

The public is invited to comment prior to a scheduled public vote on Wednesday, May 9th.  Anyone interested in commenting can email their thoughts to stadiumcomments@mail.maricopa.gov or call a phone line set up specifically for this issue at 602-506-2255 (506-BALL).

A public meeting on the proposed MOU is set for Monday, May 7th, at 1 p.m. at the Board of Supervisors Auditorium at 301 W. Jefferson St.
